Because of the mountains, the hectares are much larger than indicated. About 60 ha of dam lands can be irrigated from the Hantams River. It is a non-perennial river but is fed during good rains. Fodder such as oats, barley, wheat, and grasses such as Superdan grass can be cultivated for grazing. The farm does not have ESKOM electricity. Solar Electricity must be installed and water must be repaired by the new owner. The Internet can be obtained via the local provider. Rainfall: The farm is mainly located in a winter rainfall region, but also receives good summer rain in the form of thunderstorms in a normal rainy year. In a good season, the average rainfall is about 200mm per year. Currently, this region is getting wonderful rainfall. Mariasdal: Portion 2/431 T 102250/2007 CTN 2272.814ha Mariasdal has: 3 boreholes, 2 with wind pumps, and the other hole will be equipped with a solar pump.
