An abundance of irrigation water (30,000 l/hour) is obtained from 3 boreholes close to the house, fitted with submersible solar pumps. These boreholes supply water to a large concrete reservoir. From the reservoir the 2-hectare Festuca (swenkgras) evergreen tufted grass is flooded. More arable land is available, adjacent, if needed. Accommodation facilities The farmhouse offers luxurious accommodation and boasts 3 bedrooms and the house has every possible convenience, including a 8 Kva solar inverter, which offers a lifestyle of sheer opulence. Other superb farm stay accommodation units are 4 guest apartments, all with en-suite bathrooms and a communal lounge area with a fully equipped kitchen. An outside braai and pizza oven make for easy entertaining of family and friends. Wi-Fi (Herotel and satellite)is available. There is also a tandem garage (127 sq. m) and covered carport (32 sq. m). Another cottage, located 500 metres from the main house, comprises of 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Farming infrastructure Farming infrastructure includes a large storage shed (200 sq. m) with outbuildings such as a shearing shed, under-cover lambing pens, special painted goat and sheep dip, general storage, shearers accommodation and ablution facilities. Everything is in place for running a proper Angora and Dorper farm. Various small pens to keep livestock, as well as good facilities for handling sheep and Angora goats complete the infrastructure. Due to proper maintenance all buildings are in good repair. About 80% of the perimeter fencing is neatly erected game-fence. The farm is subdivided into 5 inner camps with adequate livestock and game drinking water, stored in troughs from 3 boreholes, all fitted with solar pumps. There is also a large earth storage dam filled with run-off water after good rain. A chicken coop and bird aviary add to the farming atmosphere. There are various good tracks trough-out the entire farm to explore the entire acreage by bakkie, mountain biking or hiking. The more east you move the vegetation becomes noticeably denser as you move closer to the Sakriver. This area is heavily wooded and dense. This area is divided into 20 camps all with water access. The farm has 9 sheep-handling facilities with 1 loading tube. Water is supplied by 7 boreholes (2 x windmills and 6 solar pumps) and stored in 1 cement dam and 10 x 5 000Lt plastic water tanks. 1 Area has a plastic pipeline and water is distributed with 1 solar pump. All fencing is in very good condition with about 5 700ha with 2.4m parameter game fence (jackal-proofed fencing with extra wiring). of the fencing has electrified wiring installed but not yet activated. The farm has 1 old vacant house in need of repair, 1 x shed, and 2 x workers homes.
