It is currently being utilized as a cooking facility for Spectrum Chef's Academy. -There is a large, freestanding storeroom at the back of the house, plus a room and en suite bathroom (a plan dating way back indicates a smaller outside building as a garage) - An expansive swimming pool was built in 1971, is fenced and surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. - A borehole/well-point. - Secure parking available on the property. - The thatch roof (west wing) was replaced 17 March 2023 and is guaranteed for a period of two years. - The rest of the roofing is IBR sheeting. - Additions and alterations were done from 1969 to 2005. The property is sold voetstoots with supporting architectural heritage documents covering general maintenance and repairs, scope of works and specifications. These reports were completed by Heritage practitioners and architects, together with consultation with Structural and Civil Engineers. A permit for minor works was granted for the proposed maintenance and repairs on 29 July 2022 by Heritage Western Cape and is valid for 3 years.
