After good rainfall the 2 large earth dams fill with runoff water. This attracts a variety of inland waterbirds. Throughout the year common birds like the Namakwa grouse (kelkiewyn), red-crested bustard (korhaan) and the kori bustard (gompou) largest flying bird native to Africa, are common sightings. A network of good roads and tracks are spread throughout the farm. The buildings are sound but needs repairs. The perimeter fences of the 5 inner camps are in good repair. Sheep handling facilities are distributed over the entire farm. There is no Eskom line. No land claims or any servitudes apply to the farm. If the infrastructure is restored to its former glory, this can be an ideal game farm with excellent facilities. The house has a modern interior look with not much needing to do. Solar power 5 KVA Inverter 25KVA Batteries 12 x 440W solar panels. All fencing is in very good condition with about 5 700ha with 2.4m parameter game fence (jackal-proofed fencing with extra wiring). of the fencing has electrified wiring installed but not yet activated.
